Scheduling Your Own Workshop
Mother Goose on the Loose training workshops
are provided by Betsy Diamant-Cohen and Regina Wade. These
include:
- An all-day workshop with information about baby brain
development and school readiness, as well as a hands-on Mother Goose on the Loose session.
Following the session, workshop participants are given
a programming packet and walked through the sections
and components of the program. Towards the end of the
day, participants have the opportunity to choose their
own nursery rhymes and make flannel board characters
to match. Each participant has the opportunity to experience
leading one part of a Mother Goose on the Loose session.
By the end of this workshop, participants should feel
comfortable planning and running programs of their own.
- A two hour workshop given by Betsy Diamant-Cohen which
is a basic demonstration of a Mother Goose on the Loose session
with a few explanatory comments and a quick review of
the programming packet.
- A half day workshop with all of the above information
but without the hands-on craft activities.
- A two day workshop that includes Betsy and/or Regina
combing the full-day training session with actualy Mother Goose on the Loose sessions
given to the public. Workshop participants can observe
for themselves how the program works smoothly with real
children who have never attended a Mother Goose on the Loose program
before.
If you would like to schedule a training workshop, please
