• Betsy Diamant-Cohen was named “Librarian on the Loose” by the University of Baltimore in 2011.
• Betsy Diamant-Cohen was named a “Mover and Shaker” by Library Journal in 2004 for her work with Mother Goose on the Loose.

• The Enoch Pratt Library in Baltimore, MD received the Godfrey Award for excellence in public library programming for children and families for Mother Goose on the Loose.
• In 2008, the Baltimore Education Examiner named Mother Goose on the Loose as the best preschool library program in Baltimore.
• Each year, Public Libraries Magazine chooses one feature article as the best of the year. Of all the articles published in 2004, first prize was given to “Mother Goose on the Loose: Applying Brain Research to Early Childhood Programs in the Public Library” a feature article from January/February 2004.
